Yaumatei Typhoon Shelter

Next a short series of pictures from Yaumatei Typhoon Shelter.
This is long gone history now.
Where the junks and sampans are seen floating in the water on these pictures, - you will now find dry land -, and another historical location in Hong Kong has disappeared forever, - only living on in old photographs.
The characteristic apartment blocks you see on the last two pictures are still there, - but not right at the waterfront like when they were built.
Please enjoy!  :-)
